Julie Chang, entertainment anchor for Good Day LA and Fox 11 Morning News in Los Angeles, has been selected as the midlifebachelor.com Woman of the Month for November 2014!
Julie Chang is originally from South Korea – and moved to the US when she was age 9 with her parents, and older sisters. She lived and grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan – and wound up graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan. She also studied at Oxford before starting an early career in banking, after which she reportedly sailed around the world … but we are not sure if she was working on a cruise ship, or ??? If Julie is reading this, perhaps she can comment. We do understand that she found her calling for reporting while traveling around the world – and that she was subsequently hired as a feature reporter on CW-affiliated station WPIX in New York City.
Julie Chang joined Good Day New York on Fox 5 WNYW in June 2008, and then moved over to the evening newscasts in October 2011. She moved to Los Angeles in November 2012, and took over as the Entertainment Anchor for Good Day LA and Fox 11 Morning News – which is where I’ve seen her, and where’s she has been ever since. She did take medical leave in November 2013 for treatment of a brain tumor – but she returned in late January 2014. She has married, and is currently pregnant with her first child.
We are not sure how old Julie Chang is – maybe she can tell us, if she is reading this??? Use the COMMENT SECTION at the bottom of this page!
