WOMAN OF THE MONTH – DECEMBER 2011 Evelyn Taft

Evelyn Taft, meteorologist for KCAL 9 / CBS2 in Los Angeles, has been selected as the midlifebachelor.com Woman of the Month for December 2011!

UPDATE – Evelyn Taft married Ross Resnick, Founder of Roaming Hunger (an online directory and locator of food trucks and street food vendors from around the United States) in August 2011.  I apparently missed this when looking at Evelyn’s bio – thanks to one of our readers for pointing out this omission.  So she is officially off the market, guys – too bad!

Evelyn Taft delivers the weather in a very warm and casual manner – almost as if she is talking only to you.  There is something about her voice and mannerisms that make you think she is the very smart yet hot girl next door.  She always appears very relaxed, and she looks flawless one hundred percent of the time.  She seems as though she would be more down-to-earth as an individual than many of the other hot newswomen – but, of course, that is only a midlife bachelor guess!

Here is what we know about Evelyn Taft.  She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area – we don’t have an exact age for her, but since she graduated from USC in 2006, we would guess her to be roughly age 27 today … so we are guessing that Evelyn Taft was born in 1983.  Her parents are from Moscow, and she grew up speaking Russian as well as English.  As already mentioned, she received degrees (likely Bachelors degrees) in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism from USC in 2006.  Since that time, she has worked at various television stations around the country, including KCOY on the central coast, KION in Salinas, CA, and then KRON in San Francisco … before coming to KCAL9/CBS2 in Los Angeles.

Evelyn Taft enjoys traveling – she has lived in London and France … she has visited Israel, Asia, Central and South America (even climbed Machu Pichu in Peru).  She is rumored to enjoy sailing, and dining at LA’s gourmet food trucks – go figure.  She spends her spare time with her pug named Rocco, and with her family.
